Wilson Health is looking for a direct hire Ultrasound Technologist for our Radiology Department located in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area.

Employment Status: PRN (24 hours in a 6 week time period)

Working Hours: 1st Shift
On Call Rotation (Every 5th Weekend) ; Call hours are for all hours of the day   Position Reports to: Radiology & Imaging Services Manager                      
  SUMMARY: Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and/or invasive procedures, as directed by Radiologist, by performing the following duties.  The patient population would include the pediatric patient, the adolescent patient, the young-middle aged adult patient, and the geriatric patient.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures with the level of competence required by the ARDMS, ACR, and the Medical and Administrative Directors of Radiology.  Maintains both quality and quantity of the patient workload at the professional level demonstrated in the department.   Displays an understanding of procedures and equipment utilized throughout the department.  This includes abdominal, OB, Vascular, non-invasive vascular, along with general ultrasound, as well as echocardiography procedures and equipment, including PACS                             EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and ARDMS registry or registry eligible. One year experience in ultrasound and radiology preferred.   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current ARDMS registry and Ohio Department of Health Radiographic license.   OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Able to use all fixed and mobile imaging equipment within job description.
