Title and Summary
Manager, Products and Solutions OverviewMicro, Small, and Medium Businesses (MSMEs) are the lifeblood of economic vitality. They represent ~90% of the workforce and ~55% of GDP. The Covid-19 pandemic only emphasized the importance of MSMEs to economic recovery and growth.

This segment is central to Mastercard's growth strategy - not only because of their regional and global impact, but also because of the large role MSMEs play in the payment's ecosystem as both payers and acceptors of electronic payments.
We are looking for a person responsible for the commercialization of the Micro and Small Business segment in Mexico, as part of the regional CNPF team, whose main focus is on identifying and attracting new clients to drive the segment's growth. This will be achieved through solution innovation, strengthening the value proposition (both in the core offering and through strategic partnerships), distributing Mastercard products and solutions via alternative channels, and optimizing the P&L.
Role
In this MSME Commercialization position the selected candidate will:
• Execute against our strategy to capture incremental segment share and help secure market, divisional and regional leadership in Mexico
• Proactively identify and engage potential MSME customers through targeted outreach and lead generation initiatives, contributing directly to segment growth
• Develop and refine commercial strategies and pitches tailored to MSME prospects, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads and long-term client relationships
• Collaborate closely with Sales teams to gain access to potential clients, ensure proper integration into client-facing interactions, and maintain all opportunities accurately in Salesforce, enabling effective pipeline management and follow-up.
• Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to Sales teams, enabling them to act as an extension of the MSME team and effectively promote the segment's offerings and value propositions to their clients.
• Maintain a comprehensive pipeline encompassing both commercial and strategic deals, regularly reviewing their status and required resources to ensure seamless execution and alignment with the MSME segment strategy.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Franchise, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Market Development, C&I, D&S/Advisors, etc.) to deliver on role and business objectives
• Analyze market trends and segment competition to develop commercialization strategies, while identifying partnership opportunities that enhance the value proposition and open new distribution channels.

The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Be passionate about ‘empowering every business everywhere' and the idea of democratizing access to powerful tools that help MSMEs thrive
• Have proven experience in engaging internal and external commercial and technical stakeholders to drive both solution development and adoption
• Demonstrated experience in the commercialization of products and services with financial companies such as financial institutions, fintechs, acquirers is highly desirable, as is experience in financial services and/or payments, coupled with a strong understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends, and profitability drivers.
• MSME banking or MSME payment experience, Mexico market knowledge/experience a plus
• Have a keen understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends and go-to-market considerations; ability to translate that understanding into meaningful action and enhancements
• Have demonstrated ability to work across divisional and regional boundaries; strong relationship management, influencing, presentation/verbal and communication skills
• Be self-motivated, a self-starter and a quick learner with ability to work independently and manage different priorities; thrives in a fast-paced environment; readiness to take-on stretch goals
• Undergraduate degree required
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
