Title and Summary
Director - Consulting Product Management Mastercard Services provides insights, consulting, marketing, and analytics to financial institutions and merchants worldwide. With its unique category expertise, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in addressing complex challenges throughout the payments lifecycle, Mastercard Services addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances Mastercard's strategic and tactical performance and establishes Mastercard's global thought-leadership pre-eminence.This role is part of the Payments Consulting Product Group which covers a wide range of Consulting products offered by Mastercard Services and is organized along the following product lines: Card Payments, Acquiring and Acceptance Solutions, Payment Performance Optimization, Payment Operations, Credit Risk Management, Commercial and New Payment Flows, Innovation and Transformation and Deploy. The team is responsible for driving development and promotion of highly configured consulting solutions to drive efficiency in business development and project delivery.
Within this team, the Director – Consulting Product Management will have a Global remit and be responsible for Product Management of the Card Operations & Risk product suite which includes Payments Operations (Target Operating Model Design, Technology Modernization, Bin Sponsorship and other topics related to card/payment operations) and Credit Risk Management (Strategy Design, Acquisitions, Line Management and other topics related to credit risk strategy)
Specific responsibilities include:
Driving P&L growth for Credit Risk and Payment Operations consulting product suite and working with BD and Regional Product teams to pro-actively meet revenue targets
Determining and driving forward the product innovation agenda and product road map; identifying opportunities for new configured solutions in line with market and customer needs
Developing product sales materials and managing other sales enablement activities to drive sales through the Services global sales teams.
Driving Knowledge Management activities across the product suite, ensuring a robust Knowledge Management process and maintaining a broad content repository to support sales conversations and successful delivery efforts
Development of thought leadership/points of view documents to help establish both internal and external narratives across the product suite and in collaboration with other product areas.
Role
Accountability and end-to-end responsibility for delivering top and bottom-line product profitability globally
Ability to effectively build and prioritize the Card Operations & Risk consulting product roadmap with commercially-oriented go-to-market planning and in close collaboration with peers and product leads
Innovative to continue evolving our product suite and drive future success by focusing on identifying and developing solutions that are scalable and drive recurring business for Mastercard Services
Interface with Mastercard units across the organization to represent the current product suite and collaborate on building new ones.
Provide expert sales support and ensure close partnership with the Sales team
Ability to be a client-facing expert sales resource
Development of Thought Leadership and other product content including
Authoring commercial whitepapers
Curating Webinars
Creating a library of relevant case studies
Developing sales materials

Possess a passion for the consulting space and an appreciation of the role it plays within Mastercard Services
Have a strong understanding of consulting solutions and the benefits they bring to our customers
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability and confidence to communicate with a wide variety of audiences

MBA or other advanced degree in strategy, marketing, communications, innovation, entrepreneurship, or other related fields is a plus
