Join us today as a Proposal Manager - can be based across EMEA BMC Proposal Managers will be responsible for the overall management, development, maintenance and timely delivery of effective requests for proposals (RFPs), ranging in complexity from relatively simple RFIs to very complex and comprehensive RFPs for the sales organization. Role requires continued development and dedication to the centralized RFP knowledgebase and toolset in order to produce highly effective documents and increase self-service functionality. Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 

• Responsible for the overall management, development, maintenance and timely delivery of effective requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Contribute to and maintain content for a centralized RFP knowledgebase.
• Contribute to and maintain a library of response templates and overviews.
• Track and report metrics related to completed RFPs.
• Stay current on company product offerings, industry trends, and customer requirements.

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• You can embrace, live and breathe our BMC values every day!
• You have 7 + years writing experience.  7 or more years project management experience. Bachelor's degree or equal work experience.
• You are an expert at managing the RFP process, including cross-functional collaboration and delivering effective, revenue-generating proposals.
• You have effective project and time management skills, adept at handling tight and changing deadlines, and flexibility with schedules as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to meeting deadlines; continually enhances content quality and incorporates improvements.
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in diverse teams, maintaining a proactive and optimistic approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Acrobat, SalesForce.com, and various research tools, with a solid grasp of the sales cycle and prior RFP experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.  Other languages a plus.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is €30,000 - €50,000
