
Description
The Electronic Trader will focus on the real-time, daily coverage and support of algorithmic trading clients and their orders. Primary responsibilities will include monitoring the trading system in real-time for performance and platform integrity, assisting clients with their selection and usage of algorithms, reviewing and assessing performance of execution algorithms, and developing relationships with internal and external traders.
What We're Looking For
- Develop a strong knowledge of equity trading algorithms and systems.
- Provide first line support to all algorithmic trading including during extended hours trading.
- Communicate performance outliers, product changes, and potential algo issues with internal and external clients on a daily basis.
- Perform ongoing execution analysis and apply that in a client service capacity to assist clients with optimal use of algorithms.

Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum Required: 0-3 years of trading or supporting US equity trading desk.
Licenses & Credentials
- Minimum required: FINRA Series 7.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient with Fidessa Order Management System.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
