Title: Organizational Development Associate Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Organizational Development Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Organizational Development (OD) Associate works in collaboration with the Director of OD, members of the OD Team and internal clients to support the planning, development and implementation of projects and initiatives that grow the organization's human capabilities and drive success in the organization's critical processes. Talent development and OD initiatives may include skill development, team-building, leadership development and supervisory “toolkits”, coaching and mentoring programs, communication and employee engagement, regulatory (healthy and safety) training, formal training and education, IT applications, and strategic planning.
The OD Associate will capably apply communication, organization, and administrative skills to coordinate projects and solve business problems within the scope of her expertise. She will work with a wide variety of internal and external clients, building trust-based partnerships that ensure OD initiatives and strategies deliver successful outcomes.
Tasks and responsibilities will vary from day to day. As well as traditional administrative tasks, the successful applicant will provide support for all OD functions, including needs assessments and surveys formal and mandatory training, and educational partnerships. S/he will maintain HR/OD databases and OD content on the internal website and other platforms; compile and distribute compliance reports; create and coordinate surveys; build course infrastructure on the Workday Learning Management Systems; schedule training, coordinate the enrollment of Roswell Park employees in formal courses and monitor attendance. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in human resources or a related field; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in human resources or a related field.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Core disciplines Psychology; Information Technology; Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, one of the Behavioral Sciences, 1-2 year's experience in an Administrative role, experience with 21st century business technology and applications such as Office 365; Microsoft Teams, and Zoom , or equivalents and experience with Learning Management Systems. Additional preferred criteria would be experience using instructional design tools and software applications to create group emails, surveys, blog posts, training content and other communications that support OD projects, ability to plan and coordinate administrative tasks and & projects to ensure they progress according to well-defined deadlines and milestones and experience hosting meetings “open house” events, and other conversations, in-person and on-line.
