The VP of Clinical Excellence and Quality is responsible for clinical, quality, and regulatory programs and process improvements that achieve compliance with the most stringent standards in the healthcare industry to include JCAHO standards and CMS measures. Collaborates and coordinates with physicians and other Senior Operations Council team members to improve clinical quality and safety. Works closely with the Chief Medical Officer to develop, monitor, and educate others on the use of patient data systems that drive improvement and reporting of patient outcomes through the use of evidence-based data and scorecards. Provides direct leadership to Risk Management, Clinical Informatics, Quality, Patient Safety, Infection Prevention and Regulatory Compliance.
Our medical team consists of more than 1,200 physicians, many of whom are recognized as the world's best in their specialties. Patients travel to Medical City Dallas from all over the United States and more than 75 other countries for the sophisticated treatment offered by our 400+ in-house physician specialists. Medical City Dallas offers a full-service adult hospital and pediatric hospital, with separate adult and pediatric emergency rooms, as well as numerous outpatient clinics and diagnostic centers. Our providers have access to state-of-the-art technology and are pioneering new medical procedures every day to accommodate patient needs.

- Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related field is required.
- Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of ten years progressive experience in healthcare quality and compliance in a medium to large size acute care facility required.
- Current licensure or certification commensurate with education requirements.
