Description

Technician – Engineering II
Location: Chandler, AZ (100% onsite) 

Contract Type: W2 through Staffing Supplier 

Contract Term: Up to 18 months 

Shift: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm 

Pay Rate: $30/hr

*ISMP (Integrated Service Management Platform)- Create and maintain boards, peripherals, test equipment in ISMP.
*ISM (Integrated Shipping Memo)- Provide ISM processing support for all other International Traffic Lanes/Countries/Export Control
*AIM Portal (Asset & Inventory Management Portal)
*HVPIP/HVI inventory management, received and shipped silicon, and maintained accurate and orderly records for audit.
*Manage Record Reconcile project inventory requirements for the department.
*Identify business process deficiencies or gaps
and propose viable solutions.
*Display tact and professionalism in all communication; Practice effective listening techniques; Written communication is grammatically and structurally correct; Practices constructive confrontation skills; Participate in effective meetings and communicate the outcome; clearly communicate operational issues or ideas to management.
*Demonstrate excellent customer orientation skills: Role models good customer service skills; Anticipates customers' needs and proactively provides solutions.
*Answer phones and emails
*Assist team members in staying up to date with their filings, audits, etc.
*Exchange engineering HVI units based on visual ID and maintain records of activity.
*Lab equipment calibration- Manage equipment due for calibration
*Check out/in equipment to the Vendor for onsite calibration.
*Engineering Lab support and Early Access Integration support. Assist with Platform bring-up / basic troubleshooting as needed
*Platform and/or Software Development Platform (SDP)- First article Inspection
*Platform and/or Software Development Platform (SDP)- assembly and setup for Functional test
*Platform and/or Software Development Platform (SDP)- Early Access Firmware programming
*Platform and/or Software Development Platform (SDP)- basic debug (If the motherboard fails, initiate basic troubleshooting
*Material Handling capabilities & Shipping.

Requirements:

AS degree, BS degree a plus but not required.  

Will accept Min HS diploma or GED with more than 3 years related experience in lieu of degree.
