Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Shipping/Receiving Worker to join our team. As a Shipping/Receiving Worker, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift, pulling/receiving inventory, and ensuring accurate counts of products. You will also be responsible for packaging and securing shipments, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and providing support to other departments as needed. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Complete safety training and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Safely operate a forklift at all times to pull/receive inventory from/into specific locations in the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate counts of products for each pick/receipt.
- Report any product, equipment, or forklift damage to the supervisor immediately.
- Provide support for production by staging components.
- Handle inventory individually by placing it onto pallets to complete shipment/receipt per work order/instructions.
- Shrink wrap pallets to securely package products using hand, shrink wrapper, or automated pallet wrapper.
- Secure the load by bracing and blocking the product with pneumatic or small tools.
- Alert the respective supervisor of any problems with orders being pulled, loaded, or shipped.
- Follow the Process Sheet for each country when shipping, including the country of destination, job details, and specific product requirements.
- Maintain assigned aisle in the warehouse area for cleanliness and organization.
- Comply with Company SOPs and Policies.
- Participate in year-end inventory by assisting with the counting of products and literature, and working overtime if necessary.
- Assist the front office in moving/delivering items when requested.
- Assist other departments as requested.
- Assist in the replacement of racks and/or beams in the warehouse.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator's license.
- Prior experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
