Job Title: Setup Injection Molding Operator / Assembler (2nd Shift)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am (48 hours/week, Fridays off; 8 hours overtime included)
Pay Rate: $21.75/hour Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Setup Injection Molding Operator/Assembler for our busy 2nd shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating injection molding equipment, assembling and fabricating parts according to blueprints and specifications, and supporting process optimization and troubleshooting. This position is ideal for someone with prior manufacturing experience and proficiency in thermos-plastic molding and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production schedules and specifications
  • Assemble and fabricate components and finished products as directed by blueprints or work instructions
  • Provide process materials, service feeding systems, and monitor/troubleshoot production processes as needed
  • Inspect work-in-process and finished products for accuracy and quality standards
  • Utilize specialized hand tools and follow equipment manuals to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
  • Adhere to company safety requirements, including wearing non-slip, closed-toe shoes and safety glasses (provided)
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Proficiency with thermos-plastic molding equipment, hand tools, and electro-mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed specifications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Capable of working 2nd shift hours (Monday – Thursday, 6pm – 6am; Fridays off)
