Kelly Science & Clinical is Now Hiring: Lead Investigator – Hybrid | Cincinnati, OH Metro Area | 6–12 Month Contract

We're looking for a driven Lead Investigator with a strong technical background and a problem-solving mindset to lead critical investigations that influence quality outcomes and patient safety.

Location: Cincinnati, OH Metro Area
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6–12 Months

Your Mission:
  • Lead high-quality, timely investigations with well-scoped strategies and clear action plans.

  • Author clear, concise, and technically sound investigation reports outlining scope, product impact, root cause, and CAPA.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with quality, operations, engineering, and regulatory teams.

  • Utilize technical data, investigative tools, and subject matter expertise to uncover root causes and implement long-term solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment at every step.

  • Own the end-to-end investigation process, including CAPA development, implementation, and effectiveness verification.

What You Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to rapidly assess technical data and conduct thorough, structured investigations.

  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to simplify complex findings.

  • High accountability, ownership, and follow-through across the investigation lifecycle.

  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn systems like Veeva QMS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or other cGMP-regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with root cause and problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).

  • Understanding of deviation management and CAPA processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
