Description

Job Title: Injection Molding Operator / Assembler (2nd Shift)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am (48 hours/week, Fridays off, 8 hours overtime included)
Pay Rate: $21.75/hour Position Overview We are seeking skilled Injection Molding Operators/Assemblers for our 2nd shift manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling and fabricating parts according to blueprints or specifications, supporting process operations, and maintaining high quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have prior manufacturing experience and proficiency in thermos-plastic molding, troubleshooting, and the use of various hand tools and production equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fabricate products according to blueprints, engineering specifications, and work instructions
  • Provide process materials and service feeding systems to maintain continuous operations
  • Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize injection molding performance
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
  • Utilize hand tools, electro-mechanical systems, and equipment manuals to support manufacturing operations
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including wearing non-slip, closed-toe shoes and company-provided safety glasses
  • Maintain clean and organized work stations, contributing to a safe and productive manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or injection molding environment strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with thermos-plastic molding processes, hand tools, and mechanical/electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, specifications, and equipment manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Effective troubleshooting and process optimization skills
  • Ability to work 2nd shift hours (Monday – Thursday, 6pm – 6am; Fridays off)
