Job Summary:
Provides pre-hospital Advanced Life Support Care as prescribed by Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures as well as the New Jersey State Department of Health MICU regulations.

 

Department: Mobile ICU
Location: Englewood, NJ 
Status: Full Time 
Shift: Night
Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am

 

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Course (CEVO or equivalent)
  • Ability to lift, move and carry patients as required in order to providing pre-hospital emergency care.
  • Demonstrated communication/writing skills.
  • Hazardous Material - Training/Operations (Level I N.J. State Police Office of Emergency
    Management)
  • Incident Command System Training/NJ State Police, Office of Emergency Management
  • Both Hazardous Material Training Incident Command System Training CEVO must be completed
    within 4 months of hire date.

 

Education Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED 

 

 License/Certification/Registry:

  • Current N.J. MICP certification
  • Current driver's license with no moving violations and motor vehicle accidents. Working knowledge of driver safety and emergency care.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications

 

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law.  The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $33.00
