The Highlights: The Data and Technology Specialist supports the School of Nursing in maintaining documentation, technology, systems and collecting the data necessary to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements for its programs. This position also serves as the main support person for the clinical placement coordinator, assisting with the record keeping and systems utilized to verify compliance with requirements for clinical placements. 


What You'll Do:

  •  Responsible for managing data, records and access to data/records
        -ensuring all program information, websites, policies, schedules, catalogue and handbooks are accurate and up to date
        -Serve as the editor for catalogue updates for the School of Nursing collaborating with the SON director and associate directors
        -Serve as the editor for all handbooks for the School of Nursing collaborating with the SON director and associate directors
        -Responsible for posting program policies, handbooks and other relevant information on the W drive and websites as appropriate
        -Update and maintain websites and ensure accuracies
        -Serve as the liaison for marketing and communication for the School of Nursing
  • Assists the Director and Associate Directors in maintaining all school records and systems, including, but not limited to, confidential student files, syllabi, course schedules, teaching evaluations, Castlebranch, Typhon, etc. 
  • Assist the Director in compiling and/or generating reports using school data, survey tools, and predictive analysis for regulatory and accreditation requirements, in consultation with other University Offices.
  • Acts as data and technology specialist for the School to ensure proper filing of all official records, proper security access to official records, proper disposal of records based on university policy, and proper inventory of all of the School's technology/equipment. 
     

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree and familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements in healthcare and/or education settings preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Familiarity with all components of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat and multiple social media applications. 
  • Excellent organizational skills; experience as key person in project management processes. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines reliably and to execute complex tasks with a quick turnaround. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and multitask.
