CONSUMER BANKING ANALYST WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Responsible for conducting relevant research and data analysis on information gathered from various sources to use by leadership. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and spearheading Consumer Banking initiatives and projects according to timelines, milestone events and within budget. In partnership with project managers coordinating and motivating all project team members, contractors and or consultants to flawlessly complete deliverables. Analysts will help define project objectives, scope, and requirements; and ensure high levels of development and project execution throughout its life cycle and must adhere to the CNB Project Management Lifecycle Methodology. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Participates in meeting activities to identify project goals and gain consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation procedures; fosters cooperation and involvement of project team members
  • Collaborate with team members to determine and prioritize business strategies and initiatives, including corrective actions and the expansion of activities
  • Identifies internal and/or external resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitors development activities relating to meeting project objectives, budget, quality standards and schedule.
  • Manages several projects of varying size concurrently and consults with all levels of management which may require coordinating activities across multiple departments and/or divisions.
  • Prepares recurring and ad-hoc reports, including project status reports; makes alterations in project plan as needed, which provide other leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve delivery
  • Coordinate and schedule various internal meetings and events; attend various meetings and events; take notes; disseminate notes; follow-up as needed.
  • Fosters and maintains good relationships with colleagues/clients to ensure that processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels. Acts as business partner by managing expectations and providing guidance and advice throughout project duration.
  • Complies fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).
  • Support change management throughout the program lifecycle and facilitate project management and implementation of strategic ideas and initiatives
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial and flexible manner in line with the organization's objectives and willingness to undertake other duties as reasonably requested
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in program and project execution experience and/or end-to-end complex change programs independently with multi-department/Line of Business impact
  • 5+ years of banking or financial industry experience.
Additional Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills to assist with the ongoing resolution of complex initiatives, including the use and application of statistical tools and analysis to model business decisions
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of project methodology, management tools and techniques across all project activities.
  • Solid understanding and planning skills in all aspects of a system/business project lifecycle, i.e. enhancements, user requirements, application configuration
  • Management of small to medium size enterprise programs with multiple workstreams across one or more unique departments/groups within the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure a smooth flow of activities and to minimize conflict between workstreams.
  • Ability to manage risks associated with the various workstreams involved in the program and to identify ways to mitigate risk
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering positive results in project work, including high quality implementations, cost savings, revenue enhancements and within time and budgetary constraints
  • Aptitude to prioritize and analyze a list of measurable product and service characteristics along with associated target values
  • Ability to set and develop strategic goals and techniques for a project and effectively communicate this to all project team members
  • Working knowledge or PMBOK, Scrum, PMP or other project management certification and business analysis and lean six sigma tool kit
  • Demonstrated strong communication (written, verbal) and time management / critical thinking skills

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $31.39 - $50.14 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
