Job Description:
The Fairbrother Laboratory uses a combination of computational biology and high throughput genomics techniques to identify functional elements in the genome. The Laboratory seeks to understand recognition events important in gene expression (i.e transcription and RNA splicing).
This position provides essential laboratory operational support and is required for efficient operation of Dr. Fairbrother's lab during the peak season of incoming Brown undergraduate researchers. This position will assist with washing dishes, ordering supplies, catalog stocks and reagents, and perform basic molecular biology tasks.
Education and Experience
Required: High school diploma
