Description

We're looking for a driven, intelligent, and proactive Account Executive to join our UK Commercial team. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is excited by the opportunity to work with some of the most sophisticated players in the commercial real estate market.

You'll be responsible for building and managing relationships with investment managers, owners, developers, and property managers across the office, retail, and industrial sectors.

Success in this role requires developing deep expertise in commercial real estate, fund and loan structuring, and financial operations—alongside mastering Yardi's extensive and fast-evolving AI roadmap.

This is a role for someone who wants to go beyond transactional sales and become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You'll lead full sales cycles, collaborate closely with internal teams, and play a key role in shaping how our clients leverage technology to transform their operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through to closing and account growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers in your territory.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and position Yardi's solutions to deliver measurable value.
  • Lead sales of Yardi products which are relevant to the Client or Prospect, including the Yardi Commercial Suite (Voyage 8, Procure to Pay, Forecast Manager, Valuation Manager, Construction Manager, Facility Manager, Data Connect, etc) and Investment Management Suite (Investment Manager, Investment Accounting, Debt Manager, Acquisition Manager).
  • Lead executive-level meetings and product demonstrations with confidence and clarity. Match strategic conversations to products where we are best placed to support.
  • Lead collaboration with pre-sales, onboarding, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Stay current on Yardi's product suite, including our AI roadmap, and complete required certifications.
  • Represent Yardi at industry events and client meetings, both virtually and in person.

What You Bring

  • Proven success in B2B software or technology sales (5+ years), in a consultative or solution-selling environment.
  • Demonstrated success in new business acquisition involving direct engagement with customers at the most senior level.
  • Strong understanding of sales process, including prospect generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Whilst we work closely with our pre-sales team, we expect our Account Executives to have experience in leading high level product demonstrations
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and client engagement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and work from our London office as needed.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in commercial real estate, property management, property management accounting or PropTech.
  • Familiarity with ERP or property management SaaS platforms.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial operations; experience selling to CFO.
  • Demonstrated success in both new business acquisition and account growth.
