Job Overview:
The Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Property Marketing Director, Casino Marketing Manager, Bus Groups Manager, and the Resort Sales Manager. This job description is not an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of this position. The Coordinator is expected to perform all duties and responsibilities necessary to meet the goals and objectives of applicable programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will field all incoming sales inquiries, via phone and web, and direct to appropriate Sales Manager
- Helps with scheduling, reservations, coordinating group arrivals
- Helps with processing contracts, check requests, and W-9 vendor forms
- Helps develop and coordinate new promotions to promote revenue growth
- Assists with special event weekend room assignments & confirmation calls
- Assists with special event coordination efforts
- Assists with monitoring/yielding of hotel
- Assists with property site tours and group greetings
- Assists in maintaining an activities and contact tracking log
- Assists with reservations and special guest accommodations
- Assists with availability and pricing quotes for both Banquet and Hotel
- Runs reports on group gaming activity
- Orders office supplies, equipment and machinery as needed or requested
- Maintains an adequate filing system
- Assembles and sends out Sales Kits
- Assists with correspondence and faxes
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
- Create documents in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment- required
- Associates Degree and (1) one-year verifiable administrative experience- required
- OR (2) two-year minimum requirement of experience in either Casino Concierge, Hotel Front Desk/Night Audit, and/or Guest Service Teleservices Agent II- required
- Must have a working knowledge of computers with the ability to work in a Windows environment with various software programs such as Word, WordPerfect, Excel, etc. (A skills test will be administered and must successfully pass with a 70%)- required
- Willingness and ability to take direction from multiple Management individuals as required
- Skilled in the operation of standard office machinery including a calculator, copier, facsimile, and other similar equipment
- Must be proficient in CMP (including evaluating play detail, tagging and redeeming prizes, reading redemption history, etc.)
- Must be proficient in Opera (including creating/editing reservations, reviewing/processing billing folios, reviewing/creating BEO detail, etc.)
- Must be knowledgeable in creating and editing reservations in Open Course and Open Table systems
- Must have excellent customer service/relation skills
- Must have good writing and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must possess a high level of maturity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to effectively work and communicate with other staff members and with the general public
- Must possess a valid state driver's license is required
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours as needed; Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
Base Pay:
- Pay range - $18.45 - $25.03 (The base pay will depend factors such as experience level and skillset.)
