- Responsible for the computer entry of patient information/registration and physician orders to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with the coordination of activities of the unit and ensures the necessary supplies are available to provide patient care.
- Assure opens and timely communication with the patient, their significant others and team members to ensure the occurrence of therapeutic interventions.
- Under direction of the RN/LPN, assists in meeting the physical and emotional needs of the patient on his/her assigned unit. The patient population would include: the young-middle aged adult patient, and the geriatric patient.
- Under the direction of the RN/LPN, carry out assigned treatments and procedures.
- The HUC/PCT shall provide care based on ethical concepts, respect for life, dignity, human worth and the individuality of human beings.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successfully completed an approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; or three to six months related hospital experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonal skills.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support
