White Plains Hospital, a 292 bed, leading award-winning hospital, located in Westchester, 25 miles north of Manhattan, NY is looking for a fulltime Neurohospitalist for its expanding Program.
JOB SUMMARY
The Neurohospitalist will provide the clinical and procedural skills necessary for the efficient delivery of high-quality care to patients with acute neurologic illness and acute neurologic complications of inpatient general medical and surgical conditions and provide inpatient neurology consults from the floors and the emergency department along with outpatient stroke patient follow ups.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
- Hospital employed
- Day shifts mix of 12 and 8 hours including weekends and holidays for a total of 80 hours every two weeks.
- No evening calls.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and is in the range of $350,000- $400,000.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE NEUROHOSPITALIST
- Medical Degree - MD or DO and a valid NYS Medical License.
- Candidates must be BC/ BE in Neurology and preferably Neuro Vascular fellowship.
- 2 years experience as a Neurohospitalist is preferred.
- New grads are welcomed.
