Job Description Summary:

Job Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor of Science in health science or health care related field required
2. Experience, training and/or documented course work in TQM/CQI/Performance Improvement.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Candidate to have 3 or more years of data engineering and analysis experience with 1 or more in a clinically relevant area.
2. 1-year experience creating relational databases in Microsoft Access or Excel or other related databases.
3. At least 3 years' experience in quality assurance, quality management, or similar functions required
4. Excellent computer skills required to include word processing programs and graphics.
5. Skills in advanced statistical programs: spreadsheet programs, database programs, and etc., experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Advanced degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience in health care setting preferred.

1. Streamline quality initiatives and care throughout the service line.
2. Work process solutions, including oversight of Clinical Quality Analysts
3. Assist with Budget process and electronic submission
4. Coordinate department staff meetings as necessary
5. Maintain Kronos
6. Manipulates and works with a variety of data (i.e., clinical, financial, quality, utilization, outcome, etc).
7. Using above tools facilitates the work of multi-disciplinary teams of improve patient outcomes.
8. Ensure compliance w/TJC, core measure requirements by ensuring data is submitted timely as required, submission of new indicators & tracking progress toward improvement.
9. Ensure compliance with other accrediting body requirements (CMS, Premier HQI, AHA).
10. Write PC programs, Spreadsheet Macros, and design database structures as needed to address Quality Improvement projects and issues.
11. Maintain report writing skills on all salient systems as needed.
