The cardiothoracic surgery service at St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. Our practice is based at St Joseph Medical Center, a level II trauma facility with 374 beds.
We are seeking an experienced and certified ARNP who has a strong interest in joining a high functioning, cohesive team, that is collectively focused on quality, efficiency, and offering niche services to our community. A desire to work within a collaborative team is imperative, as our unique collegial practice environment is the foundation to our consistent top tier quality.
Practice Details:
We offer the full gamut of cardiac surgery services at SJMC (except VAD, ECMO & transplant), and have a complex patient population with a wide ranging breadth of pathology.
One of the busiest cardiac surgical practices in Washington State.
A highly collaborative, collegial team that has broad support within our system to focus on high value care.
Strong focus on high quality care, and we consistently achieve numerous 3-Star ratings from the STS national scorecard
Mature practice that has had little turnover of its clinical support including our PA-C team and our nurse navigators, as well as our dedicated OR team.
Single hospital and single clinic practice.
Dedicated ORs, and ICU team for cardiac surgery within our hospital
Practice supported by 6 APPs, and 5 nurse navigators.
Requirements:
Current Washington State P.A. license and certification or Nurse Practitioner license and certification with prescriptive authority. CPR certification.Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiothoracic ARNP/PA.

Salary Range:$152,791 to $215,233
