Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with lending support staff to learn functions such as pulling credit reports, obtaining updated financials, preparing extensions, modifications, commitments, and assignments.
• Work with assigned lenders to learn credit review and analysis process, portfolio management and customer interactions.
• Train on Bank product knowledge for cross selling, all systems access and use including nCino/Salesforce, loan documentation review and credit review and analysis.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• The Commercial Lending Trainee will also train on:
  * Understanding the customer's financial information, including income, assets, debts and investments in order to assist in analysis.
  * Evaluating loan products, options and variables and determining what would be best to meet customer's needs.
  * Handling customer inquiries and explaining options available to the customer.
  * Discussing benefits and potential risks of the various products with the customer for cross sell opportunities.
  * Analyzing credits and loan request to assess viability of the credit request.
