Description

Design of SiGe HBT circuits operating at millimeter wave frequencies. Train AI assistant models and tools for integrated circuit design. Benchmark the performance of circuits implemented with AI assistance. Evaluate the feasibility of using the models and tools for other types of integrated circuits technologies. Suggest strategies to improve the AI models.

Minimum Education and Experience

- Master's degree in field directly related to research – Two (2) years of experience/expertise performing research relating to a specified field of study – Or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience totaling at least eight years.

Preferred Education and Experience

Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and/or a minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in integrated circuit design.

Experience in millimeter-wave integrated circuits and system design using Silicon process technologies. Characterization of millimeter-wave integrated circuits and systems.

Additional Information

Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
