Description

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas is seeking highly qualified candidates for a Research Associate position in energy storage materials and devices. The selected candidate will join Dr. Yue Zhou's group and work on multi-year projects in structural batteries, fast-charging energy storage, lithium metal batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and zinc ion batteries supported by ONR and NSF. Minimum Education and Experience

Ph.D in a related field.



Preferred Education and Experience

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or others by the time the appointment begins. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in material synthesis/characterization, energy storage materials, and mechanical testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform research in Zhou's lab.
