Description
The Program Manager will work closely with the Undergraduate Program Director on various aspects of program management. Key responsibilities include assisting with student management, student recruiting, and working with faculty and campus administration to support the degree program.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree; Three to five years experience in a field relevant to the program; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Adaptable and able to quickly and effectively develop and balance multiple relationships, and get results from a variety of people
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Project and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong initiative, drive for results, and self-assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of social media and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Must be comfortable working with youth and adults
- Ability to create professional flyers for various events
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer relationship management skills, and flexibility are a must
- Master's degree with a concentration or major in Information Technology.
- Three to five years of experience in a field relevant to the program
- Prior IT work experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job Duties include but are not limited to the below.
- Manage business relations pertaining to area internships and full-time jobs. Collect, manage, and summarize data and records associated with internships and full-time job placements.
- Work closely with the JSOM Career Management Center to support ongoing recruiting and placement efforts.
- Assists in regular report generation which may include enrollment reports, internship reports, and job placement reports.
- Assists with departmental processes such as syllabi review, assigning faculty mentors, assessment data collection, and email communication with students.
- Attend regular strategy meetings with the dean, associate deans, area coordinator, and program directors.
- Initiates, manages and supervises recruitment activities, ad campaigns, web and search engine campaigns, student testimonials, and scholarship management. Outside campus visits may be required.
- Prepare email campaigns to prospective students advertising our program which include emails to applied and prospective students.
- Assist with event planning for current and prospective students. This includes planning student mixers, info sessions, and other outreach activities. It also includes planning/scheduling summer camps.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials/flyers for various events.
- Assist with website updates and tracking which include Search Engine Optimization and content management.
- Responsible for social media updates to various social media outlets including Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Provide internship guidance and assist with placement, including internship reporting for existing students.
- Assist with survey creation and data collection from existing students which includes summarizing selected from the exit survey.
- Assist with input and engagement tracking (data input and data collection for I&E reports).
- Reply to student inquiries such as prospective students asking questions about the program, transfer requirements, and scholarships.

Remote Work Notice
A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employees must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
