Job Summary:

Provide administrative and programmatic support for Undergraduate Programs in the Jindal School of Management (JSOM). This role involves the careful review and evaluation of students' academic and personal credentials to ensure accurate processing of degree-related records and forms. The position is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of student academic records while supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

Minimum Education and Experience

Completion of two years of college. Two years of experience as a Degree Plan Evaluator I, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer proficiency and knowledge of software programs.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review, update, and correct undergraduate student degree plans within the Jindal School of Management (JSOM) by accurately analyzing academic records and ensuring alignment with university and program-specific requirements.
  • Evaluate student records in preparation for advising appointments and walk-in sessions to provide timely and accurate support.
  • Respond to inquiries from current and prospective students via email and other communication channels, providing clear information and assistance.
  • Advise students on degree requirements, course selection, and university academic policies; make referrals to appropriate campus resources when necessary.
  • Assist students with registration processes and monitor academic progress toward graduation.
  • Create, maintain, and update degree audits; ensure accuracy and completeness of student records.
  • Review and process graduation files, including final audits of degree plans to verify eligibility for degree conferral.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all student records in compliance with FERPA and institutional guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators across campus to support students' academic planning and success.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage and communicate effectively with student populations in both individual and group advising settings.

Remote Work Notice
A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employees must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
