Description

The Data Analyst assists with managing and analyzing data for the BrainHealth Project. This position is responsible for data processing, compilation, screening, validation, and analysis utilizing a variety of software programs and integrating data from multiple sources.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Psychology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics or other related field
  • Three (3) or more years of experience maintaining data compilation, screening, validation and analysis utilizing a variety of software programs and integrating data from multiple institutional and external sources
  • One (1) year experience cleaning and analyzing survey data using statistical software (SAS, R, STATA, SPSS, or an equivalent) and working with online survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, RedCAP)
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with writing code in R, Python or Matlab preferred
  • Experience with brain imaging programs (SPM, AFNI, FSL) preferred but not required


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include data curating, quality control, MRI image pre-processing, and various project analyses.

Additional Information

After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
