The AsscVPISDS may be asked to serve on several university committees and/or working groups, UT System task forces, particularly those involving OIRA and UT System Academic Affairs partnerships, and will serve as a member of the New Student Engagement Board, which is a university-board dedicated to the success of all first-time students at UT Dallas.

  • Provide strategic leadership for the student success and alumni portions of the institution's full student lifecycle CRM (project name: Project Europa; internal platform name Polaris, which is UT Dallas' enterprise Salesforce instance), through the transition from implementation partner phase to institutional team sole support.
  • Provide executive oversight of the change management and adoption of the new CRM in all academic units for graduate admissions and recruiting and student success support within Polaris, in consultation with the assistant vice president for policy and process improvement (AsstVPPPI). • Make executive decisions regarding the sunsetting of in-house technical tools in partnership with input from the seven schools, the OISDS web applications team, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, and governance committees, in consultation with the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Success Technology (AsstVPIST).
