CANDIDATE PARAMETERS:
• M.D. or D.O.
• Male or Female
• American Citizen or FMG
• Excellent communication skills and empathy are required
• Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible for Residents)
• Resident or Practicing Physician. Any Experience Level
• Must have very good to excellent malpractice history with current coverage
• Must not have been a sanctioned party
EMPLOYMENT ARRANGEMENTS:
• Physician employment is with UPMC Cole with an initial agreement requiring a minimum 36-month term. Candidates not requiring a Visa may be presented with a 48-month term.
• Compensation is based on MGMA median as surveys are released • Relocation reimbursement stipend is negotiable
• Signing bonus is negotiable based on initial term • Retention bonus is negotiable (Candidate must extend contract commitment for at least two additional years past the initial term)

Responsibilities/Schedule:
• Provide medical, surgical, and consultative care for patients requiring the service of a interventional pain
• Collaboration/supervision/partnership of APP
The practice:
• Primary practice is located on the campus of UPMC Cole, with expansion to Wellsboro PA.
• Established practice
o This recruit will be replacing a .5 physician with plans of growing practice and expanding into Wellsboro PA market
o .5 APP
• 1,659 procedures annually
• Most of the procedures are performed in the minor procedure suite of the OR due to the CAH setting
• Clinic EMR is EPIC, procedures are to be documented in Meditech; expected to be replaced with with EPIC in 2025
• The suite is well-appointed in the Medical Office Building on campus- great clerical and clinical support: seasoned, excellent employees.

• Steriod injections
• Radiofrequency ablations
• Nerve blocks
• Spinal cord stimulators
MEDICAL STAFF:
• 24/7 Hospitalist coverage
• 21 Specialties
• Radiologist onsite weekdays, but teleradiologist is available to read 24/7
• Referral sources in place - 10 rural health clinics within the service area

• The physician has input but no administrative duties
