ACADEMIC GASTROENTEROLOGIST (03-309-1197) The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Maryland Downtown and Midtown and Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Centers seeks a full-time, BC/BE Gastroenterologist for our Inflammatory Bowel Disease program. Expected faculty rank will be at the level of Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.

In addition to board certification, this position requires an MD/DO degree from an accredited school (or foreign equivalent), and eligibility for an unrestricted Maryland license. The successful candidate must possess medical and personal skills to facilitate clinic and inpatient consultations, teach fellows, supervise APPs, and perform routine endoscopy. Clinical research experience is desirable.
