The University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine - Jacksonville is recruiting motivated and energetic board certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physician to join our Faculty in a variety of positions.

- Critical Care/EM Faculty
Clinical activity occurs at a variety of sites and works alongside colleagues in other specialty services. Successful candidates will receive academic appointments as either a Clinical Assistant, Associate or professor. Qualified candidates must be ABEM/ABOEM board eligible or certified.
UF Health is a 639-bed urban teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Jacksonville. Our 65 bed emergency department includes a nationally recognized residency training program, pediatric ED, several fellowship programs, an award-winning emergency simulation center and a highly successful and active research division. Our Research Division comprises multiple K-awards, an experienced coordinator staff, and expanded staff hours for study enrollment. A full cadre of sub-specialty services are available to the over 80,000 patients who visit us each year.
UF Health North is a 194-bed community hospital with 34 full service emergency beds, and inpatient Critical Care unit lead by EM Critical Care physicians. UF Health North has comprehensive radiology and laboratory services, along with consultation from all University of Florida specialty and sub-specialty services. Open since 2015, annual patient visits are growing and already exceed 47,000 patient visits per year.
UF Health has also opened three new free-standing emergency departments in 2023, each with state-of-the-art facilities offering advanced acute care services, supported by medical imaging capabilities (CT/US) and full on-site laboratory capabilities 24-hours a day.
