Position Summary: 

Incumbent provides expertise required for electroencephalograph testing (EEG), Video/EEG monitoring and patient observation, long term video EEG monitoring (LTM), evoked potential (EVP) testing, brainmap testing, Corticography (ECOG), and surgical monitoring. Incumbent also will review and clip continuance monitoring, provides telemetry testing and other specialized procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including nursing floors, intensive care units and other specialized locations.

Salary Range: 

 

Hourly Rate  Minimum   $44.33                  Midpoint              $44.33               Maximum $44.33

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must possess current R. EEG T.  and / or R. EP T. from ABRET

Ability to monitor and mentor students and EEG technologists

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Current BLS certification required by time of hire

 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

R.PSG.T or NBRC certification as a Polysomnography

Experience performing all phases of neurodiagnostic testing

Experience with or willingness to learn interoperative nerve monitoring (IONM)

Experience with interoperative nerve monitoring (IONM)

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
