Position Summary:
Incumbent serves as a resource to staff in handling and troubleshooting difficult accounts, monitoring workflow, monitoring productivity and identifying underlying Self Pay and Balance After AR issues and make recommendations for resolving such issues. Assists with patient questions and concerns, responding in a timely manner.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $61,100.00 Midpoint $84,100.00 Maximum $107,100.00
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Minimum 5 years experience in medical billing and/or clinical customer service and handling patient account issues
Must have hospital and physician working experience in billing, self pay and and balance after collections
Previous experience working within healthcare collection
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 coding, authorization requirements and related documentation
Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
