Many UHP physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents, fellows, and medical students. The UMKC SOM accepts students directly out of high school for a six-year combined baccalaureate/Doctor of Medicine program. The UMKC SOM Graduate Medical Education program supports over 30 residencies and fellowships.

UH is known as “Kansas City's Essential Hospital” and is the safety net healthcare system for Jackson County/Kansas City, MO. UH is an academic medical center, serving as the primary teaching institution for the UMKC Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide medical & gastroenterology care at University Health through outpatient clinics and inpatient care. Position requires completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship, Missouri Medical License. The Department of Medicine is proud of its diverse composition and is an equal opportunity employer.
