Department: ICE | IGSL Magnetic Resonance Imaging IOP

Summary of Job Duties: Works with ordering and reading physicians through the process of completing MRI procedures

Communicates with patients, coworkers and physicians through written and verbal forms of communication.

Interacts with patients and family members during the entire procedure from prep to completion of the study.

Other duties may be assigned to this position. Student will work under the direct supervision of a registered technologist to perform excellent patient care, safety and to produce diagnostic quality images.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications or Competencies (Essential for the job – the applicant must have at the time of hire) Basic competency include but are not limited to education, experience, licensed require, or physical requirements. 

Education, general:

High School, GED or formal educational equivalent

Graduate of a Radiological Technology program

Experience, length in years and kind:

Must be a second year student in a Radiological Sciences Program

Licenses, certificates, or registration

An Temporary Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained prior to start date.
