Summary of Job Duties: *This position is located in Springdale, AR*
The APRN in the Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology shall reflect UAMS's prevailing pledge to promote academic excellence, provide patient care (when applicable), search for translational opportunities, and promote the health & wellness of Arkansans.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with a Masters in Nursing.
Current RN License, National Certification as an APRN in Pediatrics (primary or acute), or National Certification eligible as an APRN in Pediatrics (primary or acute) with certification obtained by hire date.
APRN License and prescriptive authority certification granted by the Arkansas Board of Nursing (ASBN) in accordance with all state and federal laws by the time of hire.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of academic medical center operations, and planning.
Ability to collaborate with clinical partners to ensure seamless operations between academic and clinical enterprises.

Provides practice management and accountability at UAMS/ACH locations.
Provide coordination, continuity, and consistency in patient care, and community outreach.
Perform varied responsibilities in patient care, medical education, and/or research.
