The Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a certified Physician Assistant to join our Nationally Recognized Cancer Care Center - Hematology Oncology Department in the Smilow Cancer Hospital - Yale New Haven at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center located in Hartford, Connecticut.

  • Full-time clinical position. 40 hrs./wk. 36 clinical/4 admin. 4- or 5-day work week option.
  • Partner closely with expert physicians and advanced practitioners in an interdisciplinary team including surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology to deliver services and personalized therapies that reflect the latest cancer care techniques.
  • This individual works in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways and may provide autonomous team-based care.
  • Provide full spectrum oncological care, including services to prevent, diagnose and treat a broad range of cancers in an outpatient setting, with infrequent weekend inpatient consult coverage.
  • CT state provider license required. Experience is preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. Procedures might include Bone Marrow Biopsies and Intrathecal Chemotherapy.
