THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION THROUGH A TEMP AGENCY.  30 hours per week (M-F flexible between the hours of 9-5).  Hybrid. THIS ASSIGNMENT IS FOR APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS.     Position Summary: We're seeking a hands on, detail-oriented Payment Project Support Specialist to provide tactical support during a credit card core and processor conversion. This role will take on varied assignments across multiple teams, stepping in wherever additional capacity is needed to keep the project moving forward. The ideal candidate is a utility player who is organized, adaptable, and ready to roll up their sleeves. In addition to administrative and operational support, this role includes business analyst responsibilities such as gathering requirements, analyzing data, and supporting process improvements. The specialist will collaborate cross functionally, contribute to change management activities, and help ensure a smooth transition that enhances the member experience.   Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tactical & administrative support.
  • Assist with data entry, validation, and formatting for system migration.
  • Track card production, fulfillment, and inventory of supplies.
  • Schedule meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain shared folders, trackers, and documentation logs.
  • Provide Business analysis & process support.
  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support business process modeling and documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into functional specifications.
  • Assist in evaluating system changes and their business impact.
  • Provide testing & quality assurance support.
  • Execute test scripts for user acceptance and regression testing.
  • Log and track defects; assist in retesting and resolution.
  • Validate card functionality and transaction flow postmigration.
  • Provide communication & change management support.
  • Draft or review internal and external communications, such as FAQs and customer notices.
  • Track customer feedback and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support training and readiness activities for impacted teams.
  Skillsets:
  • Project coordination and task tracking.
  • Business analysis (requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation).
  • Data validation and cleansing.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect tracking.
  • System migration support (data mapping, configuration assistance).
  • Change management support (communications, training logistics).
  • Documentation and reporting (status updates, meeting notes, process guides).
  • Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data formatting).
  • Microsoft SharePoint or Teams (document management, collaboration).
  • Familiarity with card processing platforms (e.g., FIS, Fiserv, TSYS, Visa DPS, Velera/ COOP).

  Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative, operations, or project support role, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
  • Experience in user testing and project management; Agile development methodology experience a plus.
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and communication using data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Exposure to financial services, card operations, or system migrations is helpful but not required. Candidates with transferable skills from other industries are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams, managing documentation, and coordinating tasks or schedules is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, or Teams is expected; comfort with learning new systems is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, and adapt to shifting project needs will be key to success in this role.

This is a temporary position.  30 hours/week. 

Compensation: Base hourly starting range is commensurate with experience.

Hourly range:  $32.48 - $45.40 per hour
