Overview
Job Summary: Provides clinical psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, facilitates psychotherapeutic groups, provides treatment planning and interventions, quality case management and discharge planning to patients/families and others identified as having significant mental health and substance abuse issues. Serves as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team supporting the program's philosophy, and by assuring the delivery of quality care.
Required Education: Master's in Social Work or Master's in Counseling or equivalent Master's degree in a recognized mental health field
Preferred Education: Master's Social Work
Required License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, or Licensed Psychological Associate. BLS
Preferred License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Required Experience: Two years experience providing psychiatric assessment, case management, and intensive therapeutic treatment to adults with a primary mental health diagnosis in a hospital or outpatient psychiatric/substance abuse setting.
Preferred Experience: 5+ years providing psychiatric assessment, treatment and case management to adults with a mental health diagnosis.
