POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and governing the data infrastructure that powers analytics across the organization. This includes building and monitoring data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and collaborating with analytics and development teams to streamline data access and performance.

It is also the responsibility of the Data Engineer not only to exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with tenants, prospective tenants, owners, and vendors but also to focus on productivity and results.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Test and validate data transformations and ingestion pipelines.

  • Build and monitor automated data workflows.

  • Optimize data lake architecture, including views, indexing, and partitioning.

  • Collaborate with developers to improve performance and scalability.

  • Implement and enforce data governance and access policies.

  • Document data architecture, lineage, and best practices.

  • Ensure data integrity and availability for downstream analytics.

  • Evaluate and expand adoption of current digital products and technologies.

  • Perform other functions, as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a data engineering or related technical role.

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake).

  • Test and validate data transformations and ingestion pipelines.

  • Build and monitor automated data workflows.

  • Optimize data lake architecture, including views, indexing, and partitioning.

  • Collaborate with developers to improve performance and scalability.

  • Implement and enforce data governance and access policies.

  • Document data architecture, lineage, and best practices.

  • Ensure data integrity and availability for downstream analytics.

  • Evaluate and expand adoption of current digital products and technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

  • Ability to resolve complex issues through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Clear documentation and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Service-oriented and responsive to internal client needs.

  • Ability to travel as necessary according to business needs.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000
