Tom Wood Powersports, located in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking a full-time experienced Service Technician to join our team.  The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a passion for both mechanics and outdoor recreation, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:    

• Diagnose complex problems on multiple manufacturer's products by using latest diagnostic equipment   
• Complete complex repairs within timelines specified by the manufacturer and dealership -use and operate Dynamometer   
• Perform routine maintenance and assembly of new units   
• Perform additional functions in the dealership as needed, including but not limited to service writing, parts counter assistance, unit pickup and delivery, and assisting apprentice techs as needed   
• Attend periodic training in remote locations as well as on-site    

QUALIFICATIONS:     

• Valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record 
• Formal training, preferably with one of the major metric motorcycle manufacturers and or MMI.   
• You should have your own tools and a minimum of three years of experience working in a franchised dealership setting.   
• Must have a “sales and customer service” attitude and aptitude and be able to communicate professionally with customers   
• Capable of performing well under a salary plus commission pay plan
