Description
We are seeking a dynamic and uniquely qualified individual to join a growing practice, consisting of 12 physicians and 25 midlevel practitioners with offices in Queens and Nassau, New York. The right candidate is well-trained, personable, eager to learn, and capable of interacting effectively with both patients and staff.
The position offers a good balance of Ob and Gyn exposure in the office. There is no Ob call. The offices are clean, modern, and inviting, with abundant support staff attending to your needs (including assisting with tasks and patient phone calls). Patient scheduling is realistic, with rare overbooking, and the position can be arranged as a 4-day workweek. The office environment is friendly and collegial, with respectful staff and supportive peers. We encourage a ‘no-drama' workplace.
Participation in gyn surgery is optional. Our practice is a nationally designated Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, with over 900 gyn cases performed per year. The candidate can participate in a large volume of advanced laparoscopic procedures if so desired. If you are looking to collect cases for the Boards or to hone your surgical skills, we will mentor you.
