Tetra Tech ES, Inc based out of Arlington, VA is searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee the hiring process for the operating unit's US-based positions and for international projects, as well as oversee, advise and delegate support for proposal recruitment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide full life-cycle recruitment support to home office, project teams, and proposals, managing priorities and delegating appropriately.
  • Provide compliant recruitment related training to hiring managers, recruiters, the Contracts team and the Business Development team.  
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR team to develop position descriptions, interviewing questions and job mirroring exercises.
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, check references, conduct salary negotiations, and present verbal offers in coordination with HR.
  • Lead recruitment kick-off meetings, regular check-ins and debriefs with hiring managers and interview teams.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of key talent through online sources and employ networking strategies to create a personal connection between Tetra Tech and high-caliber consultant talent.
  • Stay connected with senior management to capture current intel on passive candidates.
  • Drive applicant traffic by listing job postings on job boards, corporate career page, and other possible channels.
  • Develop tailored recruitment social media posts and advise team on how to maximize candidate interests through social media. 
  • Proactively recruit by engaging with geographical and industry specific candidates, building a relationship with candidates ahead of hiring demands.  
  • Assist proposal team with recruitment responsibilities to advise on developing staffing plans, tailoring candidates' resumes, etc.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (Taleo) and requisition postings.
  • Complete weekly reports on talent pipeline and potential talent markets and report out to the Executive Management Team. 
  • Identify and manage strategic recruitment outreach efforts to continue attracting diverse talent.
  • Support outreach efforts by overseeing recruiting conferences, career fairs and workshops via strategic networking opportunities.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Essential KSA's Required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education/experience), preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Business Administration, Energy, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 7 years of recruitment experience, with prior management experience.
  • Certified recruiting training or professional certification.
  • Prior international recruitment experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and establish trust and credibility quickly by maintaining clear, authentic and proactive communication.
  • Strong mastery of social media platforms for recruitment purposes (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
  • Ability to organize work and perform independently while coordinating with team members.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information.
  • Outstanding multitasking and organizational capabilities, including ability to independently plan, prioritize, multi-task, take initiative and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working productively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Possess high-level interpersonal skills and be a positive and collaborative team member.

Valued but not Required KSA's:

  • International development experience, particularly within the energy sector.
  • Prior experience working in the Energy sector.
