Description

Due to recent significant contract successes, we are looking to expand our engineering team.  This is an exciting opportunity for a Structural Associate Director to join our engineering team.

 

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the design and delivery of large-scale, complex engineering projects within the nuclear decommissioning sector.  As the Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the structural engineering team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

 

Key Responsibilities of a Structural Associate Director (Nuclear):

  • Lead the structural engineering team for nuclear decommissioning projects, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff
  • Manage project delivery for nuclear decommissioning, including design, analysis, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and regulations for nuclear decommissioning projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the nuclear decommissioning sector
  • Support business development activities for nuclear decommissioning projects, including bid preparation and client presentations

 

Requirements:

  • Chartered Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the design and delivery of large-scale projects within the nuclear decommissioning sector
  • Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design, including experience with relevant software packages for nuclear decommissioning projects
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders in the nuclear decommissioning sector
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team of engineers for nuclear decommissioning projects
  • Experience in business development activities, including bid preparation and client presentations, for the nuclear decommissioning sector
