Our multidisciplinary team uses cutting-edge LiDAR, UAV, GNSS/GPS, total station, and photogrammetry technologies to support planning, design, and asset management. We are seeking an experienced Principal/Senior Geospatial Surveyor to lead complex field programmes and mentor a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead planning and delivery of complex geospatial surveys (topographic, control, boundary, measured building, volumetric)
· Supervise, train and mentor junior surveyors; allocate resources and schedule tasks.
· Operate and maintain surveying and geospatial equipment: GNSS/GPS receivers, total stations, terrestrial LiDAR, and UAV/drone platforms.
· Execute field data acquisition using GNSS, total station, laser scanning and UAV photogrammetry & LiDAR; ensure field QA/QC and safe site working practices.
· Process and register point cloud and survey datasets; perform georeferencing, point cloud classification, feature extraction and accuracy assessments.
· Produce and review deliverables: CAD plans, 3D models and point-cloud deliverables.
· Liaise with clients, project managers and multidisciplinary teams to define survey requirements, scope, and deliverable specifications.
· Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and survey reports; ensure compliance with standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to business development, proposal preparation and technical bid inputs.
Essential Skills & Experience
· Degree or HND in Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
· Strong practical experience with GNSS/GPS, total station and terrestrial/ mobile LiDAR.
· Proficient in processing and modelling software such as: Leica Reg360,/Cyclone, Leica Infinity, SCC (or similar), AutoCAD and ReCap.
· Excellent leadership, communication and client-facing skills.
· Commitment to health & safety and practical understanding of site risk management.
· Full, valid driving licence; willingness to travel to sites and work outside standard hours where necessary, suitable for security clearance.
Desirable
· Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CICES).
· Practical experience with UAV/drone survey operations.
· Experience in production of 3D models in Revit.
