Description
Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a Senior Business Case Analyst. The successful candidate will interface with the NAVTAC II Team and FAA senior management, and must have strong verbal and written skill, strong program management scheduling experience and be able to manage dynamic client expectations. The candidate will also perform senior level program analysis functions associated with the ongoing business. Also supports activities related to the transition of schedule and business management and information technology processes. Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Management of NAVTAC personnel that support the Navigation Programs Business Manager responsibilities
- Acts as Navigation Programs Business Manager direct support and counsel to ensure all business management activities are coordinated and deliverables are high quality
- Provides input and counsel with all matters related to Navigation Programs Business Management as a trusted advisor (Budget formulation, White Sheets, etc.)
- Provides reviews and improvement recommendations for processes and methodologies associated with business management efforts
- Plans activities of Business Management support to ensure budget and business operational requirements are met on time and within budget
- Analyses and input to Investment Analysis Readiness Decision (IARD) documents
- Supports data and cost analysis to support cost, supportability, and portfolio activities
- Analyst leads coordination efforts with internal and external program management and financial stakeholders
- Develops and delivers budget formulation information to business management stakeholders
- Supports coordination between customers and project teams to ensure integration of business case analysis efforts
- Provides guidance on the business case approach for acquisition programs and initiatives
- Creates, deploys, maintains and refines decision management, operational benefit, schedule, and cost models
- Performs lifecycle cost estimation and independent government cost estimate development
- Performs and leads program schedule development, maintenance, and analysis
- Conducts quantitative analysis using operations research, economics, and other quantitative tools and approaches
- Program/project planning
- Preparation and analysis of program related data
- Review of program status
- Preparation of reports
- Coordinating, scheduling, and arranging meetings
- Preparation of materials for and giving program related briefings and presentations
- Program coordination with FAA Headquarters and regional office personnel, and facility personnel
- Conduct program and project control processes
- Minimum of 10-15 years' experience and demonstrated ability to lead and perform cost, benefit, or schedule analysis in support of major acquisition programs or initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in mathematical or business discipline such as computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering, finance, business, or business administration required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- The candidate must have excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills
- The candidate must have the ability to plan, coordinate and implement solutions associated with all aspects of FAA business management
- The candidate should have knowledge of the FAA business management and AMS processes and timelines
