About the role: 

Based in Sydney, this key leadership role will join a long established WHS team contributing to a nationally recognised brand for workplace health excellence.  


 
As the technical lead for our NSW team, you will drive  advanced monitoring techniques and exposure assessment methodologies to tackle complex occupational health challenges — from dust, noise, and chemical exposures to proactive risk prevention in evolving work environments. 


 
Setting the benchmark for technical quality, you'll  support the team to deliver a broad portfolio of projects and play a key role in mentoring and developing talent, building strong client relationships and driving business growth. 

Our work spans a variety of sectors — including mining, energy, manufacturing, water, and infrastructure — offering you the chance to innovate, collaborate, and grow in a role with real impact. 
 

Day-to-day, your role will include: 

  • Working with clients to recognise, evaluate and control health hazards 
  • Managing occupational hygiene risk assessments and conducting workplace monitoring 
  • Producing technical reports detailing investigation, risk assessment and practicable solutions for our clients 
  • Providing specialist occupational hygiene knowledge and solutions 

 


About you 
 


You're recognised for your technical expertise in occupational hygiene and for your commitment to building trusted client partnerships. You thrive on delivering practical, evidence-based solutions that make a measurable difference.  

 

What You'll Bring: 

  • Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) and AIOH Full Membership is highly regarded 
  • A strong track record in delivering innovative, compliant, and cost-effective occupational hygiene solutions 
  • Expertise in exposure assessment, health risk evaluations, ventilation assessments, and hazardous substance management 
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practice guidelines in NSW specifically 
  • Proven ability to manage projects, engage effectively with clients, and lead multidisciplinary teams 
  • A genuine passion for mentoring and developing emerging hygienists and WHS professionals 
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to client engagement and continuous improvement
