Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an Security Design Consultant – Subject Matter Expert (Electronic Security Systems) to join our growing Technology Integration Team.

 

The applicant's location is flexible with options to work in-person, hybrid, or fully remote, but must be located in the US.

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ICT Electronic Security Systems subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Security Design, coupled with extensive project experience. As our subject matter expert, you will be responsible for project execution for all aspects of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) projects while focusing on security design. You will coordinate with other subject matter experts to put together construction documentation and construction specifications. Your primary objectives will include design, client interactions, project execution, providing mentorship and training, developing talent, establishing and refining processes and standards, quality control, and fostering a culture of growth and innovation.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical competency, communication skills, and a proven track record in security design. A Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification is required, with preference given to candidates holding additional certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), or Smart Building Certificate. A growth mindset, combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience, is essential for this role.

 

Additional qualifications include: 

  • Information Communications Technology (ICT) design experience required – this could be as an ICT Designer, Low Voltage Designer, or Telecom Designer
  • Revit experience is required
  • RCDD is desired, but not required

 

Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package for employees.
