We are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager in Texas to expand our business in water, wastewater, stormwater, and resiliency sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination with client service managers and existing business development resources throughout the regions to grow the business by expanding services with current clients and establishing new clients.  This position will report directly to the Vice President, Texas Infrastructure.

Your Role:

  • Identify and develop business development opportunities throughout Texas and converting those opportunities to booked sales/backlog.
  • Collaborate with the Texas Infrastructure Leadership Team to establish business development goals including associated business metrics.
  • Focus on municipal clients including cities and county governments, regional agencies including water and river authorities and state agencies.
  • Develop mid-level staff on identifying and developing new business and client relationships.
  • Participate in marketing including increased brand recognition and awareness, conference planning and participation, and identification and recruiting new staff.
  • Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager and Project Managers on scope and fee development and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate and participate in client quality visits to enhance quality control and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering or Business (MS is preferred). 
  • 15+ years in the municipal engineering sector.
  •  Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing in and executing profitable assignments for clients and building key target client accounts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with other professionals to deliver the best solutions for clients.
